Wisconsin Swimming, Inc. is the governing body for competitive swimming in Wisconsin, and is a member Local Swimming Committee (LSC) of USA Swimming , the national governing body for swimming as recognized by United States Aquatic Sports (The United States Member of the Federation Internationale de Natation Amateur, FINA ) and the United States Olympic Committee.

USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming. We administer competitive swimming in accordance with the Amateur Sports Act. We provide programs and services for our members, supporters, affiliates and the interested public. We value these members of the swimming community, and the staff and volunteers who serve them. We are committed to excellence and the improvement of our sport.

The Wisconsin Sports Development Corporation (WSDC) is a nonprofit sports management organization that helps develop sports tourism in Wisconsin and promotes positive lifestyles and physical fitness through amateur athletic events and health education programs. WSDC owns Badger State Winter and Summer Games, the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame, Shape Up Wisconsin Kids, Lighten Up Wisconsin, and the Fit Kids Challenge and hosts Ironman Wisconsin and Paddle & Portage.
